They live on a flat in London. Their parents are immigrants from Austria. They owned a shop in the town, which they closed in 2006 due to low turnover. Many years before, they lived in the countryside in the area known as Piping Hole. They were poor and poorer. However, after the death of their father, they were given a new job in the shop, which allowed them to turn their life around. What a wonderful story! The members of the family are all older and stuck together by the fact that their lives have moved in opposite directions. They have gone back to the country in which their father was born - Austria - and to the north-east of England. The boys were born on a farm in Crotheridge, Norfolk, close to Birminghurst, on the edge of the small town of Crouching stockade (where the films were filmed). The girls were born in Brighton. Their mother is a busy cook and their father is a widower who lived in Cove, Berkshire. Their father came to the United Kingdom from Romania in 1937. When he arrived in the UK, he took up a job as a doctor. He made a living teaching medical subjects at a university in Durham. By the time he was divorced from his wife, he was very wealthy. He owned a large farm in Brechin. Knowledge of English is not required for viewing.
