The Film is a factually based documentary, narrated by Yehuda Wiesel, the former head of Israel at the IOC, and Israel's current spokesperson. The film follows the history of Israel in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. It also looks at the Israeli Olympic swimmers as they competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. It shows events unfolding within the country during this time, from the recognition of Israel as an independent state to the occupation, torture and destruction of Gaza, and the subsequent takeover of the State of Israel by the Palestinians. Media research and technology teams conclusively prove, after a long historical run, that it is possible to determine the trajectory of a mass media and scholarly publication, and to locate its future. In order to create the film, researchers collected documents and film footage from the 1960s and 70s that touched on the spread of nationalism in Israel and their influence on Israeli politics in the 1990s, as well as information relating to the uprising against the Arab takeover in Gaza and the Israeli political opposition against the central government in Jerusalem. Veterans of the Israeli Defence Forces have also contributed to the documentary as a way of presenting information about Israel's relationship with the members of the IDF and as a means of inspiring them to continue serving in the IDB.
