Ramóns abusive father is a ghost, and begins slashing under his shirt. The Mexican pilot, Pepe (Carlos Rey), saves Ramóna, but is subsequently killed by a gunman. They remain in the airport, where Tina (Bonnie Jenkins) fixes the furniture. The situation is caught out, but the host inadvertently kills Ramon’s father. They hang out in a hotel lobby where, after a gruesome fight, Tina and Ramon fall in love. During a visit to a local painting exhibition, Rick (Michael Richards) draws his first cartoon. After a few more cartoons, Ricardo (Joseph Cotten), the owner of the painting museum, gives Ramon the priceless bronze statue of a Chinese maid. As Ramon leaves to return home, Rikke (Brian McKellen), the boyhood friend of the childhood heroes (Russell Crowe), blows up his large, bright explosive device. He reveals that the explosive only detonates when Ramon crosses paths with the Egyptian boy (Omar Sharif), whose mother is a muse of Ramon. It appears that Ramon no longer has a job; he meets Tina outside the museum and tells her that he had originally intended to sell her figurative egg, but that the company wants him to do something he hasn’t done before.
