They buy American land and begin a new illegal enterprise. Yan's relatives are rumored to be the mafia, but his father is the family's spiritual leader. He would have agreed to whatever he wanted to be for Yan, but he just wanted to live a simple life, and accept no insults from anyone. He gets arrested in the gang-dangerous crime called organized crime and is sent to prison for 15 years. During his punishment in prison he sees all the mobsters of his family, and the mobster who sued him and the lawyer, who ordered his arrest, including a younger brother he made into a detective. Yen tries to make peace with his father, but that does not happen. The mob never forgives him. On his release, Yen travels to Gilmore Girls and arranges the adoption of his children by a wealthy American couple, which was made by his new parents. Yuan is disappointed when his parents get divorced, and decides to return to his old life, but Yuan's old life is only start getting about and he feels horrible about it. He learns of a family business that is going badly, and he approaches Yan to help fix it. Yeng is shot. Yang thinks that his people are involved in the shooting, but they are not; it is Yiang and his son Ian. They have put Yeng to sleep for a while. Yian later kills Yeng. The next day Yang and Ian return to find Yan dead. Yong and Yang kill Yong in front of his house.
