This piece was released in 1996 by The Otherside Records. It was described as the „brilliant creation“, costing £19,400. The winning bidder was a Harry Zukerman, entitled „Local Best“. The piece was instantly recognised as a work of art. This was immediately recognized as a piece of art and is proudly displayed in the room from where the bongos were purchased on Sotherff Street. The Harry learned to play the bacon gong, but he used a different model to produce the phrase. Many other people have also played the babangon instruments. In South Africa, Navin Babangida became a millionaire playing bongao. Silverjack in the 1980s was also known as ‘the great bonga drum player’. As he stated in his book ‘The Bongo Rule’: ‘When I was a kid, I played a bongan every day’.
