Seminoles, Pequot and Aztlan people are present in this film. They have a tradition of living with the Moslems. The present film is about a group of tribesmen from the Plateau de la Florida (Plateau of the Sauces, Plateu of Oaxaca, Azuay region), who are battling cholera in their hidden language. The Azcana in the movie are mentioned in the chapter "Pasos", but the participation of the Seminole and Pequoet people have a special meaning. They are fighting against the infection through their music and dance skills. For example, this documentary film tells us about a pastoral society. The people of the "Coast of the Tierra del Fuego" are shown as courageous and resilient peoples. They fight against not only the hunger, but also the malaria, which has never been present in the region. Moreover, they show that one can not suffer alone and they combine different activities: farming, crafts, hunting to interact with people. The cultural status of the people is different than the dominant culture in the plot, but the same people as they live. This way, they are able to understand and interact more easily. The film is shown with variations, but not the particular characteristics of the Azumanga peopel.
