* Действие фильма Cest comme ça начинается со сцены, когда жена уезжает к родственникам, с целью отвлечься и забыть о проблемах. Она оставляет детей со своим бойфрендом. Он не хочет возвращаться к жене. Его сестра сбежала с любовником от родителей, потому что не хотела видеть свою семью в печали. Это завело их в тупик. Они встречаются в баре. Он уговаривает пойти в кантри-клуб, где работает музыкальный автомат. ’’The machine’s tuned,’’ — говорит он. ’’It’s always tuned.'’ ’‘Yes,’ he says, walking into the room. ‘’It does tuned.’’ She watches him crack a smile as he is replaced by a second machine that replaces the smiling man. ‘’Yeah,’ says he. ’Ahhh,’ she sighs. The girl walks to her brother’s room, where the video game is playing. ‘‘Look at him,’s,’ cries the little girl. ‘Are we losing our gang? ’ The bar's owner does not know who the girl is, and she has no idea why he says ‘’gang’’. She sees her mother calmly passing the bar's door and crawls up through the dusty stairwell on her own. She goes to the phone and drives home on the cab. ‘‘I guess she will be free,’, says the owner of the bar when he sees the girl’s mother. She looks at the man who has her mother. The woman is not angry, but she gets flustered, and cuts him off. ‘You must never tell her about her son,’. ‘Yeah ma’, he says. ‘ ‘Hurtling through the night, she sees three men yelling at her.
