Sammy Molco - Balash Prati
Страна: Израиль
Премьера фильма: апрель 1997 (Италия)
Продолжительность фильма: 00:20:00
* Действие фильма начинается с того, что во время показа мод по телевизору Sammy enters the studio and announces his love for tomboy girl Becky. Beckey is a fashion model, so the director Mordovic says that he will shoot Becke in the movie. Only Sammy is keen to get to the film, so he asks the director's assistant if he can look after Becka the entire day. The assistant asks for Sammy's wallet. Sammy starts to laugh, but the assistant stops him. Sam can't explain why, but he admits that he loved Becks from his childhood. He then attempts to find Becki's father, who works as a family aide. The father asks him how many tombie girls his son spurned and received. Sam writes out all the girls's names in a notebook. It then continues in a lot like Russian movie Basketball, where the camera gives us a shot of a box-office expectation to Hollywood. Sam tells the director that he is now ready, but wants to apologize to the director, but it’s already clear to us that Sammy has changed his mind. The director says he will go along with Sammy’s change of mind, and by the end of the film we know that Sam will not want to call Becca’s father for a second time. Mancini Junior won the Best Director title at the 1987 Los Angeles Film Festival. It was selected as the 13th Most Promising Short Film at the 1990 San Sebastian Film Festival, the 70th Best Documentary Film at Venice Film Festival in 1994, the 60th Best Short Subject at the Montreal International Film Festival 1999, the 72nd Best Actress Award at the Sundance Film Festival 2000, the 85th Best Drama Award at NPR Music Award 2000, and the NPR 9th Best Art Direction & Cinematography Award. "Sammy Mulco" was screened at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival and the 1993 Sundays Film Festival at Toronto.
